What is the process to get the monthly payment?
What is the process to get the monthly payment?
Please see below step by step guide for monthly payment procedure.

- One time configuration: update your billing contact details and payment method. It can always be modified by you if needed.

- In the beginning of each month, you should receive a notification on our dashboard as well as an email to the defined billing address. The message will include a template invoice specifying the amount to be paid this month.

- The invoice is also available for download in our dashboard, under Billing > Invoices.

- After downloading the invoice template, confirm that the bank account and amount are correct. If you think anything is wrong with the pre-filled amount to be paid, contact your partnership manager and let them know.
- Upload the updated invoice template to the same page.
- Your payment will now be processed and paid, in accordance with the payment terms defined per your partner program level.
- On this page you should be able to monitor progress of the payment approval cycle, until it is paid.

How do you calculate my earnings?
How do you calculate my earnings?
Your earnings are based on the number of daily active users that opted-in to Bright SDK.
- We pay per device. Meaning for example if a household has a PC, a laptop and a smart TV with your apps installed it’s 3 devices.
- We count a device as ‘active’ once it is online for over a certain number of minutes (the number varies by operating system). Note – it doesn’t matter if we actually sent traffic through it or not!
- At the end of that day, we have the total number of online devices.
- Every country has a daily rate.

Do Bright SDK rates change over time?
Do Bright SDK rates change over time?
Just like ad CPMs , Bright SDK rates are impacted by supply and demand. Demand comes from Bright Data customers (who need to collect public web data in different countries), and supply comes from the number of peers on the Bright SDK Network in each country. This means that rates may fluctuate over time. Having said that, Bright SDK needs to remain a competitive monetization solution, otherwise we will not be able to retain partners or find new ones.Traditionally, Bright SDK have not changed rates significantly so far, and given the ever-increasing need for public web data, we hope this will continue.
What are the minimum requirements for a user to be considered as qualified device?
What are the minimum requirements for a user to be considered as qualified device?
Bright SDK implements several thresholds that are mainly intended to take care of your user’s device and make sure our data collection does not interfere with their user experience in any way. Before any data collection is made, we will make sure the device has enough battery, the CPU level is low and bandwidth used is not too high. In addition, we require a minimum up time, that is different per OS, and defined per each partner as part of our agreement with them.

How does Bright Data make money to then pay me?
How does Bright Data make money to then pay me?
Bright Data works with over 20,000 customers like major banks, universities, social networks, ecommerce sites, and many brands you know. Bright Data enables these qualified customers to download publicly available web data using the user’s Internet connection – data like web statistics, price comparison, and other verified business processes. In general, companies use publicly available information (for example, product prices) for detailed research and financial analyses. But in many cases, when companies use their own IP address to browse the Internet, they can get inaccurate data. So getting the web page from a user’s IP address helps companies see the web as regular users see it – which ensures complete and accurate data. Here are some examples of when companies get more accurate information from websites by using different IP addresses:
- To protect their brand: Are sites selling fake versions of my product?
- To protect their users: Are advertisers showing ads for products I don’t allow (e.g. firearms)
- To offer the best prices: What are the real prices
How am I paid in case more than one SDK is running on the same device?
How am I paid in case more than one SDK is running on the same device?
Although the probability of such a scenario is not too high, we do have a built in solution for that, which is to share the revenue equally between apps. For each device in which there is more than one opted-in active users on the same day, the count will be split between the apps.Example 1: 2 different partners have their apps with Bright SDK running on the same active device. Each active day will count as 0.5 day for each partner.Example 2: The same partner has 2 apps with Bright SDK running on the same active device. Each active day will count as 1 day, for all the active apps altogether.
