# How To Upload Apps To The Samsung Store

> Submitting apps to the Samsung TV Seller Office may be a complicated process. This guide will help you submit your application in a way that will minimize the chances of delay or rejection.

### Prerequisites

* ✅ [Valid Samsung Seller Office account](https://developer.samsung.com/tv-seller-office/guides/membership/becoming-partner.html).
* ✅ Tizen Web Application package ready for upload.
* ✅ App assets prepared (icons, screenshots, privacy policy URL).
* ✅ App description presentation (PPTX format).

<Steps>
  <Step title="Create New App" titleSize="h3">
    1. Log in to your Samsung Seller Office.
    2. Navigate to Applications.
    3. Click **+Create App**.

    **Configure App Settings**

    1. Application Name for management: Type the name of your app.
    2. App type: Select Tizen Web Application.
    3. Default Language: Select English.
    4. Click **DONE**.

  <Step title="Upload App Package" titleSize="h3">
    1. Go to Applications > App Package > Upload Package.
    2. Upload App Package: Click *"Choose a file"*.
    3. Select your app package file.
    4. Click **DONE**.

  <Step title="Review Pre-Test Results" titleSize="h3">
    **Wait for Pre-Testing**

    When the pre-testing process is finished, you should see: `2. Pre-Test: Pass`.

    **Review App Information**

    1. Review the app information displayed.
    2. Share App Source with Members? Select **YES**.
    3. Click **DONE**.

    **Confirmation** A pop-up will appear: *"Are you sure to add this app package?"* Click **Confirm**.

  <Step title="Upload App Images" titleSize="h3">
    Navigate to Applications > App Images.

    **Required Assets**

    **1. Icon Images - 1920x1080** You must provide two files:

    1. Logo Asset with Transparency:
       * Size: 1920x1080 pixels
       * Format: PNG (RGBA), 32-bit
       * Max Size: 300KB
    2. Background Image:
       * Size: 1920x1080 pixels
       * Format: PNG (RGBA) or JPG, 24-bit
       * Max Size: 300KB

    <Note>
      **Note:** 16:9 and 1:1 full-color assets will be auto-generated from these files.

    **2. Icon - 512x423** Full-Color Asset:

    * Size: 512x423 pixels
    * Format: PNG
    * Max Size: 300KB

    **3. Screenshot Images** Requirements:

    * Size: 1280x720 or 1920x1080 pixels
    * Format: JPG
    * Max Size: 500KB each
    * Quantity: 4 screenshots required

    **Save Images**

    1. Click **SAVE**.
    2. Confirmation pop-up: *"Are you sure to save app images?"*.
    3. Click **Confirm**.

  <Step title="Service Info" titleSize="h3">
    Navigate to Applications > Service Info.

    **1. Service Category**\
    Select: Game (Game).

    **2. Rating**\
    Choose the appropriate age rating for your app.

    **3. Language**\
    Select: English.

    **4. Privacy Information**

    * Collect Personal Information of your user in this application? - **YES**.
    * URL of Privacy Policy in English - Enter your Privacy Policy URL.
    * URL of Privacy Policy in Korean - Enter your Privacy Policy URL.
    * Did you check "App Development Privacy Guide"? - **YES**.

    **5. Seller Information**\
    Fill in all required fields.

    **6. Click Save**

  <Step title="Title/Description on TV" titleSize="h3">
    Navigate to Applications > Title/Description on TV.

    **Required Fields**

    1. **App Title:** Enter your app title.
    2. **Description:** Write a description of your app.
    3. **Tags:** Add relevant search tags.

    <Note>
      **Important:** App title should match the `<name>xxxx</name>` in your `config.xml` file.

    4. Click **Save**.

  <Step title="Service Country/Region" titleSize="h3">
    Navigate to Applications > Service Country/Region.

    **1. Rating Certification**\
    No change required.

    **2. Service Country or Region**\
    Choose ALL countries EXCEPT:

    * Brazil
    * China
    * Cuba
    * Iran
    * Iraq
    * Korea
    * Lebanon
    * Palestinian Territory
    * Syrian Arab Republic

    **3. Click Save.**

  <Step title="Billing Info" titleSize="h3">
    Navigate to Applications > Billing Info.

    Choose **FREE** and click **Save**.

  <Step title="App Feature Info" titleSize="h3">
    Navigate to Applications > App Feature Info.

    Choose **NOT APPLICABLE** and click **Save**.

  <Step title="Verification Info" titleSize="h3">
    Navigate to Applications > Verification Info.

    1. **App Description File -** Upload a PPTX file describing the application.
    2. **Geo IP Block -** Select: **Unuse**.
    3. **Test Account -** Enter: **"No need"**.
    4. **Voucher Code -** Enter: **"No need"**.
    5. **Click Save.**

  <Step title="Request New Release" titleSize="h3">
    **Initiate Release Request**

    1. Navigate to Applications > Distribute.
    2. Click **+Request New Release**.

    **Configure Release** Navigate to Applications > Distribute > App Service > Request New Release.

    1. **Select App Version to Release -** Mark the relevant package checkbox.
    2. **Select Model Group to be Released the App Version.**
           <Note>
             BrightSDK works on Tizen 6.5 and above
           </Note>
    3. **Enter Release Information**
       * What's new in this version - Add release notes.
             <Note>
               These notes are visible to users
             </Note>
       * Is mandatory update required for this version? - **Select: Optional** (Even if user rejects an update, they can still continue to use current version).
       * Note for Tester (include what's new) - Add notes for the tester team.
       * Agree to release your application with minor defects? - **Select: Yes**.

    **Submit - Click NEXT.**
